While the material is highly durable, waterproof, and chemical-resistant, standard lab epoxy is susceptible to degradation from the sun's UV rays.

Yes, you must have qualified and experienced installers when handling epoxy resin countertops. Tools need to cut epoxy are diamond tooling. Carbide drill bits can be used for small drill size cuts, but diamond tooling for larger cuts

Yes, an experienced installer can use a variety of different methods to flaten out warped areas. Thickness issues can also be done using shims and other tecniques by an experienced installer.
